Great moment at the Singapore International Film Festival 2009.
“Thor at the bus stop” was a pure marvel of crosscultural humour and unpredictable situations. I really enjoy the clever way the stories were intertwined and the characters.
This funny and witty filmed object was arguably one of the best independent movies screened at the SIFF for years. “Thor at the bus stop” has the potential to become a hit, not only on USA’s independent scene, but also in Asia and Europe.
    Congratzzzzz to the filmmakers.

I agree it was a great film very funny and great music too. lever concept and well made. I particularly liked the Backseat Pete scenes.

Hope both the film and music do well. I am sure they will. Cool!

  3. Loved how each character was introduced in the movie, just like individual frames in a comic strip and how their stories intertwined. Felt that the editing could be tighter though.

I <3 the soundtrack!, Especially the songs by Hungry Cloud….will this be available for purchase/download?

    Hello,

Thank you very much for your movie. It’s wonderful the way the lives of the mortal characters intertwined, and you have a good eye for human interactions and characters. i also think it’s lovely and beautiful the way Thor came to terms, with the help of the little girl, with the transience of his life and - knowing that - goes to his final battle against Jormungand in Ragnarok.

Thanks for the awesome character portrayals, especially of Thor - i love the aesthetic, and i’m now gonna reread all my old Walter Simonson comics because of your great movie! :-)

Keep on rocking, and keep the mead flowin’,
    Shao

P.S. And you gotta love the big snake haha

  5. I loved the story of the laid back passenger seat and the hijacker who eventually tries to kill him.

Also to reiterate the question by Joan - where can I get Hungry Cloud’s songs?

Watched it at the Singapore International Film Fest and this is one fun trip!

It is simple in it’s presentation and no frills fun for all. Loved the simplicity of it all and the spirit of just going out there to shoot a feature!
